The Photographic Society of Richmond College — a community built on passion, vision, and the art of capturing the world.
The Photographic Society of Richmond College is one of the most active and celebrated student societies on campus. Founded with the belief that photography is more than just a technical skill — it is a language, a means of expression, and a way of seeing the world differently.
We bring together students from all disciplines who share a passion for visual storytelling. Through workshops, field shoots, exhibitions, and competitions, we nurture talent at every level — from curious beginners to seasoned photographers.
Our society has consistently produced award-winning photographers and continues to be a vibrant hub of creative energy at Richmond College.

Luminate is not just a competition — it is a festival of photography that inspires, educates, and connects the creative community of Sri Lanka.
